Slaughtering is a brutal business. Human beings kill thousands of innocent animals in these slaughterhouses just to full their hunger.
This is cruel and not correct on the part of the poor animals. These animals are treated severely bad once they are in the slaughterhouse. They hardly get any food and are beaten up by the workers of the slaughterhouse.
Activists around the world are trying to shut these slaughterhouses down but the humans are the meanest animals and they do not care for anything when it comes to food and money.
This 23 years old vegan activist posted a video on her facebook page where she is comforting a calf a few moments before it was taken away to kill.
Alix Livingstone is an animal rights activist from Melbourne who is working every day to generate awareness among people for animal rights.
It is important as animals share the earth too and we have not created them. This is their world too and they have equal rights to live freely.
Alix stormed in Benella slaughterhouse and chained herself to a railing next to the baby cow who was about to be slaughtered.
The slaughterhouse in Victoria is a huge place and several calves and cows are killed every day in there.
With Alex, one more activist chained herself to a calf already chained in the slaughterhouse in order to set her free.
Alex tried so hard to convince the authorities of the slaughterhouse to set two of those calves free but the authorities denied.
She tried to convince them for hours before they asked her to leave voluntarily or they will through her out. She was not ready to for it but the asked her to leave so she had to.
She recorded a video with a calf before she left and she appeared crying in the video. She kept sobbing while the cow baby kept licking her as if she was the only one who had ever loved it.
The baby was just 30 days old and had been taken away from its mother.
Soon after she left, the calves were slaughter some moments later.
