We understand being a vegan; no one would prefer to have meat or fish being cooked around them.
They choose to be a vegan because they hate the animals being cooked, they hate the smell, or they just don’t want it around. Whatever the reason is, we know that they do not like to be around the meat and fish.
A vegan woman took her neighbor to court just because they cooked meat and fish on the barbecue and the smell was reaching her garden.
This case is coming out from Australia as Cilla Carden got so outraged that she decided to drag her next-door neighbors to the court for barbecuing and filling her backdoor garden with the smell of fish.
She says that they know she is a vegan and they know she cannot tolerate the smell.
She then claims that even after knowing, they intentionally set their barbecue in a way that it fills up her back garden with the smell of fish.
She says that it has become so horrible that she cannot even use her back garden because it smells of fish all the time.
The woman who claims it was all intentional by her neighbor Toan Vu, his wife, and his kids, has not been able to file her case yet as her claims were rejected on the basis of lack of evidence.
Obviously, it is difficult to get evidence of someone sending of the smell of the barbecue but her attorney says that they still have Supreme Court to go to and the case is still not off the table. It may take some time and a little more efforts but they are on it.
The fight started in 2018 and it is still in the game. They have no idea when will it stop but it is clear that Cilla Carden is in no mood to take her case down.
