A couple who are too much into tech stuff just got engaged with VR.
Dean Sharp, 33, recorded a video that could be played on a VR headset to express love to his 38-year-old girlfriend Kamila Sobczak.

To surprise Kamila, Dean made arrangements on the day when his girlfriend was out on shopping with her 13-year-old daughter.
He invited friends and family to his place, who were there but not in sight of Kamila as she came. As Kamila entered the house, her boyfriend asked her to wear a VR headset.
As the video started and the real world faded for her eyes, the guests came out of hiding and gathered around her, without her notice obviously.
The footage playing on the VR consisted of Dean talking about his relationship with Kamila. As she was deep into the emotional video, unaware of her surroundings, other people prepared the room for the occasion.
By the time the video ended and Kamila took the VR headset off her eyes, the scene before her was a bit hard for her to contemplate.
She saw the living room full of people holding champagne and flowers while Dean was wearing a Tuxedo, holding a ring and kneeling before her.
It was Dean’s lucky day as she accepted the proposal and said yes to change her eight-year-old relationship to a formal one.
Speaking of the genius proposal, Dean said: “I wanted to do it because it hasn’t been done before. I have a lot of time to think at work and I thought, ‘What’s not been done?’
“I was looking online and I couldn’t find anyone who had proposed through VR. I used a £40, 360 degrees camera to create the video world.
“We put flowers up in the room and when Kamila took the headset off, she was like, ‘OK woah.’”
Kamila said: “It was a massive surprise. Me and my daughter had been out at IKEA. She tried to keep me out of the house as long as she could.
“I came home a bit annoyed and I asked Dean to cook the chicken for dinner. But Dean asked me to put on the goggles and when I started looking I saw him in the goggles. I thought, ‘Where is this going?’
“I was really confused.
“When I took the goggles off and Dean’s family and friends were there, I was shocked because I did not expect all of them to be there.
“I did not have a clue that was going on around me. It was a bit emotional. I was speechless. It’s extra special knowing I’m the first person to be proposed to using VR.”
The couple is planning to tie the knot in the coming June.
