Walmart Forced To Apologize For Selling Santa Sweater With Three White Lines On It


Walmart has come under fire after promoting its new ‘ugly Christmas sweater’ on which Santa Claus is pictured with a straw in his right hand and three white lines on the table.

Outraged users have quickly slammed Walmart Canada for the “sick” and “nasty” joke whereas some critics accused the giant retail store of promoting illegal substances, specifically cocaine.

The ‘let it snow’ edition is just one of many ideas for an ‘ugly Christmas sweater’ that divided the people after making it onto clothing.

“We all know how snow works. It’s white, powdery and the best snow comes straight from South America. That’s bad news for jolly old St. Nick who lives far away in the North Pole,” the sweater’s description read.

After the newly-added product went viral, thousands of people slammed Walmart for mocking Santa and accused them of promoting the use of illegal substances.

Following the backlash, Walmart attempted to distance itself from the controversial product.

According to Global News, a spokesperson for the retailer claimed that the sweater doesn’t represent their values. They have also blamed a third-party seller for the sweaters ending up online.
