A dog owner from London learned this lesson the hard way by losing her beloved dog and now she is spreading the message to make other dog owners aware of the same.

Kate Chacksfield shared her grief as she said that her dog Ruby ran away one day, sneaked out and ate a couple of brownies. The brownies had xylittle which is a natural substitute of sugar.

Xylitol is toxic to dogs and can send them in a condition extremely bad.

This is what happened to poor Ruby. Ruby ran out and ate the brownie and within 36 hours the poor dog was rushed to the hospital. Her health was not good and it was becoming even worse.

After a bill of $13,000 and with health failing for 8 days, she finally lost her fight with life.
