Terrorism is the ugliest reality in the world and no matter how hard we try; it just does not go away.
People killing other people just because they follow a different religion or have a different skin color is a truth that still prevails in the 21st century and the same is the reason of attacks at the Christchurch where several people of the Muslim community were killed because they were Muslims.
Victims of the attacks are left all devastated after losing their loved ones and their family members. With the same, they also fear that they can be next on the radar of these terrorists too.
To support these victims, even the Prime Minister of New Zealand came forward and shared her love and support on the behalf of the country.
This old man also came to attend a rally to support the victims of the attack and to give the message that they are not alone. The pictures shared are so emotional and heart touching.
The old man is a veteran from World War 2 and after changing 4 buses, he was finally able to reach for the rally. The picture is so touching that even after needing support from a policeman and a stranger, the old man is willing to be a part of the rally.
Mr. Sato, the 95 years old man told where he got the motivation to travel these long changing 4 buses.
He said “On the night of the attack, 15th of March, I could not sleep. I was terrified and the pain in my heart was so much. I kept awake and wanted to share the pain the victims were facing.
After I lost my wife and daughter, I have had nothing much to do so I keep interacting with people. I like talking to them. When I came to know about the attack I was determined that we have to show support to the Muslim community of the country because they are the part of the country.”
