Get ready to have a very very cold Christmas Brits and get prepared to keep yourself warm this festive season because it is not going to be an easy one.
The Met Office has released a forecast of widespread freezing and frost after the higher level ground of northern England received about two inches of snowfall.
In some parts of Scotland have been warned for major snowfall as the area has been hit by extreme temperature fall as of Tuesday morning at 9 am. As per the forecast, the temperature is going to go as low as -9 degrees in Scotland.
The Met office in their forecast said that the mercury is going to drop below 0 degrees for sure and the roads will be found filled with at least 2cm thick layer of snow which is going to make it very difficult to commute thus the people should be prepared for the same in advance.
On Thursday and Wednesday, washouts and strong winds have been predicted right on time as hundreds of schools have announced their festive holidays.
One model is showing Atlantic jet stream winds blowing at 200mph speed to hit Britain at the second last weekend of this year right before Christmas.
This also says that leisure travel is going to widely interrupted so it is better to reach wherever you wish to reach for Christmas now before the commute stops working as flight take-off and roadways are the ones to be shut down on the prior basis.
Make sure you don’t call any of your family and friends from outstation right before Christmas because it is not going to be safe for them to travel in such hazardous conditions.
