While women are usually the ones who are most excited upon the idea of having multiple babies, men can surprise as well.
James Green is one such example who craved having babies of his own ever since his teen years.
After falling in love with Cloe, the young couple from Great Britain soon announced their first child, a son named Leo. At that time, Cloe was only 17 years old, but apparently more than ready enough to start her own family.
Soon after their first child, the second one followed, and that’s when they realized their dream was to have a huge family. Throughout the years, more children were born, and the couple was flooded with thrill and excitement each time a new member was added to the family.
After having a few kids, Cloe felt that the headcount of her family is already big enough. Nevertheless, James always managed to convince her otherwise by winking at her and saying: “Just one more, Clo.”
Both James and Cloe were born to be parents. While she was a full-time mom, he decided to work remotely so that he could spend more time with his family. In the mornings, James took kids to school, worked in a nearby coffee shop until it was time to pick them up, and then spent the evenings with the family.
After having their fifth child, who was born with cerebral palsy, the couple decided to end their baby-making attempts. Cloe was fitted a contraceptive implant, but as fate would have it, she got pregnant again!
“James said it was meant to be for us to have more babies,” Cloe explained. This belief led the couple to three more pregnancies. After their 8th baby, Elijah, was born, they were positive that he was really their last.
The happy family continued living peacefully until one dreadful night, only 12 weeks after Elijah was born. Apparently, James woke up in the middle of the night and began acting strangely.
Cloe realized he wasn’t able to breathe so she called the emergency services and started performing CPR. “I wanted to scream and cry but knew I needed to keep calm,” she recalled.
Despite her quick actions and the assistance of the paramedics, James didn’t make it – he died at the age of 31. Since he appeared very healthy and energetic, everyone was wondering what could’ve caused his death.
After the coroner’s test results arrived, it was clear that James died because of hypertensive heart disease. This condition refers to heart problems which are often associated with continuous high blood pressure.
In honor of her husband’s memories, Cloe decided to become a strong parent that James would like her to be. “In my darkest moments, I wondered how on earth I would do this without James. But I looked at those eight little faces, all depending on me, and I knew I had to do this for them and for James,” Cloe expressed.
Even though Cloe is now a single parent of eight, she is determined to tackle the incoming challenges head-on.
Regular checkups can help in discovering diseases such as hypertension before they become lethal. Please share this post to raise the awareness and protect your loved ones from a tragedy.
