A wife has been slammed by adults for preparing a work lunch for her husband every morning before he takes off for work.
As the anonymous Australian woman shared the photo of the lunch she’d prepared for her husband on a Facebook site, the page administrator was forced to remove a series of negative responses.
While the wife defended her decision to prepare “cheaper, fresher and healthier” meals for her working husband, plenty of people ridiculed her and accused her of spoiling her husband and treating him like a child.
As some users have insisted, it is not a woman’s job to wake up early every morning to prepare meals for her partner.
Amid all the backlash, some people have also rushed to the woman’s aid and defended her actions by claiming it’s completely normal for doting partners to prepare work lunches for their partners.
Soon enough, other people have started sharing their own photos of lunches they prepare, whereas one woman revealed she also writes sweet messages on her husband’s lunchbox every day.
Lashing back at the haters was also the page admin who told the negative people to mind their own business and move on if they object the idea.
“No more comments about whether you agree or disagree with packing your significant other’s lunch for them,” she wrote.
“Each to their own, nobody is forcing you to pack husband’s lunch. Move on if you don’t agree with it.”
Supporting the idea was also an elderly lady who explained how she had been making lunches for her working husband prior to his retirement but added that this is now “fast becoming a thing of the past.”
