26-year-old Vadim Anatoliyevich was driving a truck on a regular day to New York when he experienced a terrible headache.
The father of two decided to stop by a dentist. He didn’t think much of it and it seemed like he had an infection. The dentist removed it and gave him antibiotics.
However, his condition worsened as the pain returned in full force. It also caused one side of his face to become noticeably swollen.
His brother decided to drive him back home but the pain became too unbearable that he had to go to a hospital in Utah. That’s when the doctors told them about the bad news.
It turned out that Vadim’s tooth infection was spreading throughout his body. His infection had already reached his lungs, making it difficult for him to breathe on his own.
Nataliya, his wife, shared with the Sacramento Bee that they had Vadim on medication. “We prayed for him that day, that night, hoping he was going to survive.
“But God has his plan, and we had a talk with the doctors and they told us how this all happened. It was just not healing how it was supposed to. It was just getting worse.”
The antibiotics were not strong enough to eliminate the infection and it eventually took over his heart.
Nataliya told Fox 40: “The doctor said tonight is the night he’s gonna die because we did everything we can and nothing seems to work.”
Doctors told her that the bacteria and the infection never stopped spreading to his lungs, making it impossible to kill.
