Wild boars roaming through the Tuscan forest discovered $21k of cocaine buried by gangsters in the forest.
The crooks – three Albanians and an Italian, were heard furiously complaining about their precious cocaine as many were devoured while the rest scattered on the ground by cops who had been wiretapping their mobile phones.
The gangsters had buried jars of cocaine but their effort was not enough to protect the powder from curious and hungry wild boards.
They were allegedly trafficking around 2 kilos of powder every month from Valdichiana into clubs and bars in the cities of Siena and Arezzo.
According to reports, the four used a code to refer to cocaine which was deciphered by authorities. It included words such as prosecco, caffe, vino and aperitivo.
The dealers were said to have been operating since September 2018 and sold high purity cocaine for £85 per gram.
Two of them were placed under house arrest while the other two were sent to prison, according to Toscana Media News.
Millions of wild boars live in Italy and many national farmers have petitioned the government to get rid of them. The animals are blamed for destroying crops and for thousands of road accidents every year.
One internet user commented: “Find this very funny four dumb men being done over by a pig.!”
Another wrote: “Blimey those wild boar are lovely devil’s in normal circumstances, after getting their snouts into 2 kilo”s of high grade bugle, I would not want come across them in the woods after that..”
A third added: “Lmao I wish they had ‘big brother’ in the forest that night. I can imagine the narrator now.”
