Startling footage from a department store in California revealed how thieves walked out with armfuls of clothing and accessories while the employees just continued to watch in utter silence.
According to local media outlets, the shameless shoplifters continued their mission of stealing freebies as they swiped the store for all sorts of goodies in the form of clothes, jewels, and accessories.
The authorities claim that the jaw-dropping incident only came into their knowledge after footage from the wild stealing incident went viral from California’s popular store named Marshalls.
But it was just appalling for so many people how the thieves managed to walk out with so much merchandise without anyone saying a word, including the store’s own employees who just watched in utter silence and disregard.
The looters were able to enter and exit in the calmest way as if the entire event was perfectly planned from the start to the execution. But why and how were they able to do it with so much ease is a question on so many people’s minds.
Well, the footage which was first obtained by news outlet KNBC showcased at least two of the robbers carrying on with their shoplifting adventures during the later hours of Saturday. Moreover, the footage also showed how one of them even went about using a wire cutter that slashed security leashes that were present over a number of purses.
On the other hand, another shopper at the store spoke about how the thieves behaved in the most daring manner imaginable. And that’s because they even had the audacity to carry out as much clothing as their hands and arms could potentially carry.
“They left without paying a single penny for anything and nobody stopped them,” she revealed. “There were at least three people involved and they were able to rob the store in less than ten minutes,” the resident explained.
Authorities are still investigating the shocking incident that has left so many questions in people’s minds regarding the robbery and how it was done with sheer ease.
