Wildlife Shot Baby Bear Dead Who Became Addicted to Food Given by Tourists


A baby bear becomes too addicted to food given by tourists in exchange of clicking pictures with him was shot by the security of wildlife.

He started posing for the pictures and clearly become fond of the same. The police department of the region received a call about the bear cub of Scoggins Valley Park, Oregon.

The speaker told the police about how the cub that it has attracted tourists and had been posing for pictures.

Oregon Department of Fish’s wildlife officials and the office of The Washington County Sheriff started receiving calls about the baby bear on June 4th.

They did not take any action back then but had to step in after people started leaving heaps of food behind for the cub.

It was on June 11 that the sheriff department of the region received a call complaining about how the cub has gathered the attention of a huge crowd near the lake in the park.

Now the people were excited to see him and were feeding him more too. In a Tweet, the sheriff department said: “We are trying to send the cub back to the woods and it is a kind request to all for stop giving him the attention.”

According to the reports from the park, the officials did manage to send the cub away for a while but it found its way back to the park and that is when he was shot.

Kurt Licence, the wildlife biologist was reported to have piles of food for the cub as he was trying to trap the cub to relocate him but his efforts failed.

The reports also said that the bear cub was not scared of the wildlife officials and stayed still while they approached him.

Kurt said that the event was an unfortunate one and something like this should never happen.
