Makeup has become an essential part of our daily look.
Gone are the days when only female used to powder their faces or curl their eyelashes. Even men have their daily dose of makeup these days. Makeup can be traced back to the use of rice powder on faces by the Chinese, use of Kohl eyeliner by the Egyptian and the application of red ochre on cheeks.
YouTube is inundated with videos of young women flaunting their skin and providing training lessons to others trying to replicate their glow. But these tricks are restricted to young girls and women. Mature women do not generally benefit from these videos.
Adding an exception to that list, a 52-year old woman put out a video that has been on all over social media. The woman named Monique Parent put out an enticing video showing her magical transformation. This transformation has been termed as from plain to gorgeous.
Monique starts off by applying moisturizer all over to cater to her dry skin. The next step is sure to baffle everyone, especially the ones who are of Monique’s age group. It might be considered dreadful for anyone over 25 to brush purple streaks into her grey hair. But Monique was brave enough to do it. And the results will surely surprise you.
Monique tied her hair into a bun and applied the usual makeup on her face – foundation, powder, concealer, and blush. To match her purple hairs, she applied a bright purple color to her eyelids. Further, she applied a purple lipstick and eyeliner to complement her new hair color.
Then she starts applying the finishing touch by opening up her hair and working again on her purple streaks. Old women generally stay clear or bright colors, but Monique is an exception. Monique has proved that ‘Age is just a number.’ You can look as beautiful as you want.
This hard work transformed a fifty-two-year-old woman into someone half her age. The power of makeup is stunningly obvious. All women must see this video to see what you can do for yourself.
