When we go out to adopt a pet, we always have our eyes for the most beautiful and cute animals.
Be it a cat, a dog, or any other animal you prefer. Yes, it is stereotypical but this is something that happens often. We have all been there.
Every single animal deserves a home that is filled with love and care. While no animal is ugly or not cute, there are some animals that have special needs.
Of course, an animal with special needs demands more care than a normal animal. And to be honest, people do not think such animals are cute to be taken home.
This is one reason, animals, especially dogs with special needs, do not get home and are often left behind at the shelters, or worse, in the streets.
Tracey Fowler, a woman who lives in Mendon, Vermont proved she was different and did not believe in the stereotypical belief.
Tracey Fowler was up for the challenge. She had lost her beloved dog, Hayden. Hayden was a German Shepherd and she had always loved the breed.
But looking at his misery when he died, Tracey decided she would take care of as many dogs as she can that have special needs.
Now Tracey is a mother of 8 dogs and her pact is beautiful. There are 6 dogs with special needs and two German Shepherd in the pact. She had adopted the German Shepherds way before she started adopting the other dogs.
All the dogs are living their best life right now with Tracey giving them the right care and all the support they need. Also, she never forgets to spoil her dogs with her love.
The idea of helping these dogs came to her mind after her dog Hayden battling with a life-threatening disease was left confined to a wheelchair.
