A woman who had bum surgery was left in pain after her implants rotated inside her, leading to a deformed bottom!
Jabrena from Georgia wanted to improve her appearance by paying for bum implants. However, she got more than she’d paid for!
Instead of having a cute and nice little bum, she found herself on an episode of E!’s Botched, begging doctors to fix the problem.
“Two weeks after surgery, the swelling started to kind of go down and you could see the implant kind of on the side. It was like a crease. But about a month-and-a-half later, the implant flipped,” Jabrena told doctors Paul Nassif and Terry Dubrow.
She also explained that the implants turned around 4 to 5 times a week that she decided to visit her surgeon, who said he would fix the mishap for an additional $4,000.
Jabrena knew it was time for a second opinion and told Botched doctors: “I just want a little, cute, nice toot butt and not this big honk that I have back here,” she expressed.
Dr. Dubrow told the frustrated patient they had a ‘butt dilemma’ as he diagnosed her with ‘implant malposition.’
“Not only are the implants in a pocket that’s way too big, but they’re in the wrong plane in the pocket, allowing them to flip around too easily,” the doctor continued.
“The problem is, if I just take the implants out, she’ll have so much sagging skin and no projection that I’ll be trading one big problem for another even bigger problem.”
Dr. Dubrow does not work with butt implants so he suggested a ‘fat flap transfer and buttock lift’ to which Jabrena consented right away.
The 500cc of fluid were removed after the 600cc implants. Dr. Dubrow was worried that he would not be able to take enough tissue to fill the pockets.
Fortunately, the procedure was successful, leaving Jabrena with a much better backside.
