A 33-year-old mother was slammed for breastfeeding her three-year-old son on a shop floor.

Sarah Mills, from Australia, shared a picture on her Facebook page ‘Amongst the Stars’ that shows her sitting on the floor in a shoe aisle and breastfeeding her three-year-old son, Morrison while suffering an anxiety attack.

Her seven-year-old daughter Monroe took the picture.

After the picture was posted online, the mother was branded ‘paedophile’, ‘sick’, ‘disgusting’, and ‘child abuser’.

Some even told her that she should “kill herself” and slammed her for feeding a child older than one.

The mother hit back at trolls and said that it is sick and disturbing to attack a woman for doing the most selfless and natural thing on this earth.

The mum revealed that her son Morrison has a condition that means he can easily choke on food, so she breastfeeds him and is not ashamed of it.

She slammed the trolls as she said: “My whole existence is my children. I would give my life to ensure they are safe and cared for. How backward we have become in the year 2020.”

She said it is disgusting that parents can load their children up with takeaways but a woman breastfeeding her child is called a child abuser.

“How sick and disturbing to attack a woman for doing the most selfless and natural thing on this earth”, she added.

She went out to say that she will continue breastfeeding her children anywhere and everywhere.

Sarah said: “How on earth can we as women demand respect from men when we aren’t even respecting each other? You can’t claim girl power but only for things that align with your views.”

She also said that breastfeeding could solve so many issues like chronic illness.

She said: “So much malnourishment and chronic illness, along with an array of other issues in our western children these days, could be curbed and improved with extended breastfeeding.”

Her post went viral online and many women came forward to support her.
