You might remember the case of an Arabian oil tycoon that went viral some time back.
The insanely rich man ordered two A320 aircraft from Boeing. When asked, he revealed that he just wanted to buy scale models of the jet for his son.
Talking about the $200 million cost of the jets, the man said he thought it was a bit too steep but ordered anyway.
Now that was the case of a billionaire oil tycoon. Commoners like you and I can’t afford that sort of mistake.
But it doesn’t mean we don’t make any mistakes while shopping. We certainly make a lot of them. Some of them are a major waste of money while others are just hilarious.
For instance, when our mom buys us something that we don’t like at all, we have to pretend that we like it. After all, it is our mom’s first time shopping online and we don’t want to make her feel bad.
A similar thing happened recently when the mother of a Twitter user going by the alias @paetonmathes bought a bed online for her dog Kenny.
Unfortunately, the bed was not really the one she had intended. It was way smaller than a dog bed is supposed to be.
But being a good and considerate dog, Kenny pretended it was totally Ok. He stood beside the tiny bed and posed as if he was extremely obliged for the gift he got.
The obviously awkward photos were shared on Twitter by the lady’s daughter. The photos got 60,000 reposts and more than 135,000 people liked them.
Kenny now has a better and bigger bed, and the adorable pooch is genuinely thankful for that.
The reaction of Kenny on the tiny bed gives us a life lesson, and that is, no matter if a gift is good or bad, we must be grateful for it.
