A creative wife has built a PUB in her backyard for her husband under £15,000 just so that he can spend time at home rather than drinking out all day at the local bar.
Meet Jayne Tapper. She is a 48 years old woman who works as a nurse in Newton Abbot, Devon. In an effort to keep her husband home and closer to her, she built ‘The Doghouse Inn’ so that he can stop going out to the local club and rather spend time in the pub in his backyard.
Mother of three kids now sees her husband Paul Tapper every day sitting in the backyard enjoying his drinks and calling people over all the time for alcohol fledged parties.
Jayne, who worked hard on the plan and was able to build the pub in about 5 months, says “I am glad that I could make it.
My husband Paul is an engineer and ever since we got married I saw that he has this special kind of love for the local bar and he had to go to the place every single day.
I got frustrated because I was never able to keep him home. I kept thinking about something that could work but nothing did.
At last, I went on with the plan and it turned out to be great.
I asked for help and paid £15,000 for the pub that stands incredibly in the backyard. My husband is having the life of his time now and so am I.
I get to keep him home now and that is the only thing I wanted plus I can grab a drink in my own pub now at any time of the day and even the thought of it makes me excited.”
