A woman named Melissa Vang was at her home with her two young children when someone knocked on the door.
Melissa and her children were scared to answer the door as they were alone, so they just ignored it.
Later, Melissa checked her security camera and was left speechless.
It was not an intruder but a teenage boy.
When she saw the footage, she saw the teen boy named Tyler Opdyke waved a wallet at the camera.
It turned out that Melissa’s husband dropped his wallet on the driveway.
Tyler, who was distributing flyers for his uncle’s pest control business, saw the wallet that had $1,500 cash along with credit cards.
And, he came to return the wallet. When nobody answered the door, he waved the wallet at the camera and put down on the front door mat.
Tyler told KXTV: “I’ve been raised in the Church all my life and I just felt this is not mine.”
Later, Melissa thanked Tyler “for his kind gesture.”
The video of Tyler’s kind gesture was shared online and everyone praised the young boy.
One wrote: ‘Kudos young man. You should be proud of what you have done. Not many people, unfortunately, would do that.’
Another said: ‘What a wonderful young man. His parents raised him right and should be very proud of him.’
The third one wrote: ‘This defines your character young man!’
