A 46-year-old woman can’t walk or move around without crutches due to a condition that has caused her breasts to keep on growing uncontrollably.
Lam Phrai Si Nuan from Thailand suffers agonizing back, shoulder and neck pain because of her enormous breasts.
According to the reports, the woman has to wear a large cloth tied behind her neck to provide enough support for her bosom.
It was only three years ago when Nuan noticed her breasts were growing bigger, but her bosom started developing uncontrollably around 9 months ago.
She is forced to use wooden crutches and the substantial weight of her breasts puts severe pressure on her spine.
Lam Phrai said doctors were baffled and unable to give proper diagnosis when she first voiced her concerns. According to the reports, her left breast grew first and the right one began growing five months later.
Doctors at Phutthachinarat Hospital have ruled out cancerous tumors.
The 46-year-old is scheduled for a medical exam next month, but because she and her husband are unemployed, she fears they won’t be able to pay the bills.
Lam Phrai is now asking the public for financial support. The overgrowth of her breasts puts extreme pressure on her spine and causes pain in her nipples.
One of the medical conditions that can cause breasts to grow abnormally large is gigantomastia. This rare condition causes stretching of the skin that may result in sores.
Breast reduction surgery is usually offered to patients to reduce the size of their breasts. Doctors say it can reduce pain or discomfort in the shoulders, neck and back, resulting in improving the quality of sleep.
