Woman Commits HATE Crime By Driving SUV Into 12-Year-Old Boy & 13-Year-Old Girl

A woman from Iowa was recently sentenced to 25 years in prison after she deliberately drove her SUV into a 12-year-old black boy and a 14-year-old Hispanic girl.

The shocking incidents of Federal hate crimes that were based upon racism took place because the woman felt that one of the victims belonged to ISIS while the other was a Mexican.

43-year-old Nicole Poole Franklin received her 25-year jail sentence on the basis of the federal hate crime charges last Thursday, as reported by local media outlets.

Previously, Nicole had been sentenced for a period of up to 25 years on the basis of state attempted murder charges for the attacks that took place in Des Moines in the month of December 2019.

In the same way, she also reportedly pleaded guilty to a total of two different hate crimes that took place in the month of May of this year.

Meanwhile, prosecutors of the case mentioned how Nicole made it a point to target her victims based upon their race, not considering how they were just 12 and 14 years old. And that is when she cold-heartedly drove her giant SUV into a curb, striking her first victim- a 12-year-old black boy.

Just a few minutes later, she then opted to drive her SUV over a sidewalk, and that’s when she brutally struck 14-year-old Natalia Miranda. She fled from both of these horrifying crashes but was soon arrested by authorities who found her lurking near a local gas station.

Nicole’s sentence will run in conjugation with the state punishment. However, it would be made sure that her punishment is held for a longer span of time, as the federal system no longer supports parole.

Just last week, prosecutors requested the 27-year sentence for the filing that took place last week, which was solely based upon the race and ethnicity of the victims concerned.
