Flights are awfully boring, especially if you fly frequently and have already gone through all the entertainment stuff the airlines have for you.

However, the passengers on this flight were not among those unlucky folks who just sit and get bored – all thanks to a witty woman.

The woman was spotted casually cross-stitching “Eat a bag of Di**ks” on an off-white piece of cloth while on the plane.

The first thing that came into the minds of a number of people was how on earth did the lady manage to take a needle across the airport security.

Factoring in the fact that all the airports in the world have the most rigorous security checks on the planet, it is simply not possible to pass a prick through all that security without being noticed.

However, that might not be the case.

To make things clear, we have to refer to the guidelines of the US Transport Security Administration which stipulates that both sewing and knitting needles can be carried in the checked and carry-on baggage.

Generally, people prefer to place pointy objects like needles in the checked baggage to avoid any trouble at the airport.

According to the instructions of the US Transport Security Administration, “Circular thread cutters or any other cutter or needlepoint tools that contain blades must be placed in checked baggage. You are permitted to keep scissors smaller than 4 inches in your carry-on baggage.”

Now that the security puzzle is solved, let’s move on to the next step, which is, why is the lady carrying on her little dirty work in front of a whole plane full of passengers?

Looking closely into the image, it can be seen that the plane has got no on-board entertainment.

So, you either load a movie or two from Netflix to your phone or you get a set of cross-stitching apparatus for a long flight.

In case you are inspired by the idea, do remember that you can also stitch something nice.
