A 26-year-old woman, who suffered from severe rosacea, cured her skin using a face cream made of capers in 4 just days.

China Collins, from Cornwall, suffered from severe rosacea since she was in her early twenties but never realized she had rosacea.

The 26-year-old always thought it was acne and it was so severe that she didn’t want to leave the house and always felt her skin was on fire.

China said: “I believe that my rosacea was triggered through a combination of genetically sensitive skin combined with the use of a harsh skincare routine through my teens and 20’s.”

During her teens, she would use highly scented products and rub her face with a harsh exfoliator twice a day.

She never heard of rosacea so she always thought it was acne. Soon, she started losing her confidence, felt self-conscious, and didn’t want to leave the house.

China would use makeup to hide the redness on her face.

China, who works as a primary school teacher, would always be asked about her skin condition by the children she worked with despite her efforts of hiding the redness with makeup.

She said: “They have asked me about bumps on my skin and will nearly always point out if I have a flushing flare-up. I have also been asked if I’m sunburnt a few times.”

China started feeling self-conscious and stopped socializing. It made her depressed as she would feel uncomfortable when people would stare at her and ask her mean questions.
