Humans often forget that animals are also living beings and they too get hurt.
Recently, a woman from Florida drowned her own pet dog just because he was barking too much. A witness was also there who watched the killing and reported the matter later.
Margaret Kinsella, 45, has been struggling with depression after losing her family member. She was coping with loss and guess the dog had to pay the price with his life. Margaret is now bring charged with animal cruelty.
On November 5, 2019, a person was at Kinsella’s house who saw her take the dog out for the walk. The man was working on Maragaret’s AC unit when he heard noises from the bathroom.
According to the statement given by the man to the police, he saw Kinsella take her adult Labrador to the bathroom and close the door.
Moments later, he could hear crying sounds, not just of the dog but Margaret’s as well.
The man tried to reach out to Margaret asking is she wanted help, but she refused. Things took a worst turn when the screams become louder.
The man could not resist anymore and he broke open the door only to find the lifeless body of the dod floating in the bathtub.
He hurriedly removed the dog from the water, but he was already dead. The man told everything to the deputies.
When Margaret has interrogated the cops, she confessed that she drowned her pet dog because he was barking too much.
Though she was depressed and going through a rough phase in her life, nothing is an excuse for the cruelty she has done with her own pet dog.
Margaret has been charged with animal cruelty and third-degree felony. Since the news has been out, the public is expressing their anger and disgust.
