A woman managed to photograph the ‘eye of the storm’ as Storm Ciara (Sabine) swept across the United Kingdom and Ireland on February 8 and 9 before whipping the north coast of mainland Europe.
Only moments after the storm passed through, a woman saw the ‘eye of the storm’ and took beautiful photos of it. The images shared on Facebook show the full moon surrounded by a thick cloud formation.
It was on the evening of February 11 when Sarah Hodges, 48, from Bolton, UK noticed the bright moon shining through the window. She then took some snaps and shared it on Facebook.
But little did she know that the photos would immediately go viral and gained over 35,000 shares and more than 2K likes. People also praised her for the beautiful photos of the full moon.
“I took the pictures last Tuesday 11 Feb 2020, between 9.34 pm and 9.39 pm, just from my bedroom window at my home address. I am obsessed with the moon, sunset, sunrise, and the sea,” she explained.
“I just used my Samsung S9. I know I got lucky, people spend thousands on cameras to get the perfect shot. I feel overwhelmed and proud, as it’s a once in a lifetime shot… which I do understand.”
One person commented: “That is crazy it looks just like an eye so I’m sure it’s Jesus looking down on earth wow.”
Another wrote: “Really nice! I had the same “eye” here in Sao Paulo last full moon, Febr 8. The moon was really amazing! I’m obsessed by the moon also.”
A third added: “Jesus is watching. I believe he doesn’t like what going on. People better get their act together. He is coming.”
