A woman named Faye Reed, 22 was going in a car with her friends when they stopped at Beachy Head in East Sussex to look for a toilet.
She fell off the cliff to death.
The car was being driven by Rayan Kalhei and Charmane Dixon, Nicole Davies and Reed were inside it. It was night time and the group got out of the car and started walking to find somewhere to go.
Her friends said that they heard the scream of Faye and realized she had fallen from the clifftop. They informed police when they arrived at the scene found friends “devastated and screaming Miss Reed’s name looking for her.”
Helicopters were sent out, they found out the body of the woman.
It was discovered through a toxicology report that the woman had a small amount of alcohol in her system. Her friend, Dixon confirmed the women had drunk ‘small amounts of vodka and gin.’
Dixon said: “The three of us got out of the car and started walking to find somewhere to go. It was really dark.”
“Faye was in front of me and I heard her scream and then she was gone.”
Kalhei was still in the car and said that one woman came running to him with the news of Faye’s accident. Detective Sergeant Chris Milner told the inquest there was only a short space of grass between the road and cliff edge. He said she had died in a tragic accident and there were no suspicious circumstances.
Faye’s dad Trevor said: “It was a privilege and an honor to be her father.”
“She was beautiful, my pride and joy. She had many friends, but always came to see me.”
“She had visited me the night before she went out with her friends.”
