Can you imagine how terrifying it would be if you find a wild puma sleeping inside your house?
Lauren Taylor posted a video on her Facebook account with a title, “There is a wild puma in my living room.”
Lauren came back home after going out and nearly had a heart attack when she saw something in her living room.
This something was a wild puma, which was sleeping on the living room sofa.
The puma ,who felt Lauren’s presence, woke up and looked at Lauren.
Although you would expect her to immediately run away, Lauren had a keen knowledge of animals.
She remembered that generally, the cat family slowly close their eyes and they communicate with each other with the so-called ‘kitty kiss’.
This is when you lower your head and slowly blink your eyes for 3 seconds, and if you happen to see the cat returning the same gesture it means that the cat is comfortable with your presence.
Lauren knew this and she calmly and slowly performed this gesture without alerting the puma.
Surprisingly, the puma returned the same gesture to her and returned to sleeping on the sofa.
Lauren watched the puma for hours and tried to it down every time it woke up from its sleep.
The biggest problem was that the puma still didn’t leave her home.
Lauren then slowly opened the front door and signaled the puma, “I want you to leave.”
The puma immediately raised its body and left the house.
Lauren looked at the puma from a distance until the puma went out of the backyard and into the forest.
“It could have been a dangerous situation, but it ended in a blessed encounter,” Lauren said. “I hope that the puma can live a long and healthy life in the wild.”
