Twitter user Nick Garcia, from San Antonio, Texas, shared the hilarious incident, in which his mother, Monica Garcia, was left locked outside her own car on Friday, March 22.
Nick wrote: So my dog locked my mom out of her car, and she texted from her I Pad. It took 3 hours for AAA to come. The tweet has gone viral immediately.
Nick posted a screenshot of text messages that were exchanged between Nick and his family when the incident occurred, and a photo of the dog in the car at the time.
Nick’s mother, got panicked, had messaged her family to ask for help.
She sends a message to a family messenger group, she wrote: ‘Pete locked me out of my car.’
She also said in the message that her phone is in the car with Pete, and Nick clarified in a tweet that his mother had used her iPad to send the messages.
Nick’s mother asked for someone to send help to her car.
She wrote: ‘Send AAA PLEASE TO OUR HOUSE.’
In a later tweet, Nick revealed that his mother was waiting for three hours for AAA to come to the scene before they finally showed up.
The tweet was posted, has gone viral, gathering over 420,000 likes, also the tweet has received 95,000 retweets and a total of 1,300 comments.
People reacted to the hilarious incident, with some saying they once found themselves in similar situations.

Others dubbed Pete a ‘hero’ after the hilarious incident.

Some users were confused as to how Nick’s mother could have texted the family if her phone was in the car.
