Woman Shares Her Home With Her 90 Pets And Plans To Turn Her Home Into A Sanctuary


A 31-year-old woman has 90 pets at her home and she has named them after Lord of the Rings characters.

Adri Rachelle, a dog sitter from Atlanta, USA, shares her home with 90 pets, including 12 dogs, six cats, four parrots, four horses, four peacocks, four rats, 22 rescue pigs,, eight chickens, three guinea pigs, two goats, two ducks, two lizards, a mule, a hamster, a rabbit, a tortoise, two cockatoos, four mini cows, two alpacas, two ferrets, two geckos, and a python.

She sleeps with four of her 90 pets in her 10-foot wide bed.

She told SWNS: “I’ve always loved animals. I don’t think anyone is surprised that I’m living like this. When I was a kid, my room was full of stuffed animals because I couldn’t get the real ones. Without fail, the pigs will join me in bed and usually, dogs and cats will come in too.”

“I have set up tree branches in the headboard so the birds can sleep near me too. I’ve taken naps with my rats before as well.”

Adri, who lives on a farm, spends a whopping $10,000 a year to feed her pets and on veterinary bills.

Adri says it takes her 40 minutes a day to feed her pets and half an hour to clean up their cages and enclosures.

Adri has a YouTube channel where she shares how she lives with her pets at her home.

She plans to turn her home into a sanctuary so that more animals can live with her.

She said: “I think for a normal person this would be a lot of work, a lot of noise and a lot of cleaning, but for me, it is almost therapeutic.”

“I get so much satisfaction from caring for my animals. I’m able to provide unwanted animals with a home. This is my little piece of paradise.”
