He asked her if she had anything fun planned for the holiday. “I’m excited I’m going to do karaoke tonight,” Debbie said. Then, the man proposed the idea that the two could spend the day together, he could take her out for lunch and then watch her do karaoke. “I’d rather a drink,” Debbie responded with a laugh.

The man asked if he could give her a makeover in preparation for the big day.

“I’m not homeless, I’m relentless,” she joked as they talked over drinks.

After finishing her wine, she said that she needed a bra, underwear, and a pair of socks. They bought everything, which came out to $107.31. When she wore it she even said, “it feels wonderful, do you want to see it?” She has a great sense of humor.

As the day comes closer to an end, they take photos together and Debbie learns how to “model.”

They had a beautiful dinner, the two dive into deeper conversation. “You could make a difference in life. Maybe educate someone and let them know that you don’t have to regret. The reason I’ve managed to survive to the degree that I have is I never regret yesterday. I did my life,” she says.

She said, that she doesn’t even know why her kids won’t communicate to her, which is her “biggest heartbreak.”
