Recent surveys have shown that a significant portion of the population believes in ghosts.

We often observe something strange that makes us believe in ghosts.

The same happened with a woman who claimed she saw her late father’s ghostly figure. Katie Louise was shocked to see a spooky image filmed at a pub.

The 33-year-old claims the ghostly figure filmed at a local pub is the spirit of her late father. Special needs teacher Katie, from Sheffield, said: “My parents lived in Grantham before they had me. My mom said they used to go to The Black Dog quite a bit.’’

“That picture is clearly a man’s face and the resemblance to my dad is uncanny. Everybody that I’ve shown it to has said, ‘Wow, that’s definitely your dad.”

Taxi driver Roger passed away in March 2016 from pneumonia at the age of 60, after battling lung cancer. Retford Ghost Hunters carried out the investigation at The Black Dog.

Katie added: “I was just scrolling through Facebook and saw some images captured on a ghost hunter’s webcam. I stopped and immediately thought, ‘Eh?’ When I properly looked at it, I saw that it was my dad’s figure.”

Landlord Chris Knowles said: “I lived here with my family for fours years and there were all sorts of strange going-on. We sometimes felt that someone was in a room when we were on our own.”

This is not the first time when someone experienced something like this as a weird CCTV video showed a small girl in a dress walking behind a waitress as she clears tables at the Lamb and Lion pub.

Assistant manager Lee Smith, 32, creeped out after the apparent ghost was caught on his camera around 10.30 am on 23 Oct 2019. He was shocked after noticing the ghostly figure while checking footage at the popular York pub.
