Lisa Landon from New Hampshire has been accused of taking the law into her hands after she filed fake documents to drop drug and stalking charges against herself by impersonating a prosecutor.

According to reports, the Hillsborough County Grand Jury charged Landon with six charges of falsifying physical evidence, one count of false personation, and charges of theft and burglary.

Landon was facing counts of stalking and methamphetamine possession.

Using the state’s electronic filing system, Landon submitted faked documents in three different court cases, the New Hampshire Union Leader reported.

Her plan was uncovered after a state forensic examiner contacted Hillsborough County prosecutors and said that he saw that the charges against Landon had been dropped.

Superior Court Judge David Anderson wrote: “The file purported to contain a nolle prosequi (drop the charges) filed by Assistant County Attorney Patrice Casian, but it quickly became evident to the State that the document, as well as other documents in the file, had been filed fraudulently.”

One person commented: “She’s very intelligent and inventive, impressive for someone who styles themselves to look like a trailer park, hillbilly, drug addict. Never judge a book by it’s cover. I hope she gets help and turns her life around.”

Another wrote: “I’m impressed by her ingenuity, it took almost a year to detect the discrepancies so she obviously had the right idea.”

A third added: “It is a shame she does not use her cleverness for good.”
