21-year-old Samantha Kershner has avoided prison after marrying her biological father following a disgusting competition with her half-sister over who could bed him first.
She had been charged with incest but was sentenced to 9 months of probation. Fieldgrove was sentenced to two years in jail.
Kershner met her biological father, 40-year-old Travis Fieldgrove, when she was 17 years old. They maintained a father-and-daughter relationship until it turned sexual.
The two were arrested on incest charges after someone reported to police about their sexual relationship.
According to police, Kershner and Fieldgrove admitted to having a sexual relationship even though they knew they were related. A paternity test also revealed there was a 99.99 percent probability that Fieldgrove was her father.
The 21-year-old said she competed for her father’s affection with her half-sister. Aside from that, they also tied the knot one month after they discovered police were investigating them.
Kershner’s mother contacted the police about their relationship.
The two are still facing incest charges for tying the knot in Adams County. According to reports, Kershner is facing a charge of making false statements under out.
When they got married, she did not name her father on her birth certificate.
At the father’s sentencing hearing, Jeff Loeffler, his defense attorney, said that Fieldgrove is “very embarrassed” and wishes it never happened.
Loeffler also said that his client suffers from a brain injury and he’s not a ‘high-functioning guy.’
Judge Mark Young called him a ‘person who’s never contributed to society’ and sentenced him to prison.
One person commented: “Eeew, and they look like twins. Puke.”
Another wrote: “Somebody needs some serious mental health counseling.”
