Sometimes a little gesture can make a big difference in someone’s life.
Only humans are blessed with the feeling of empathy towards something and it is important to use that feeling in the right way. We need to be empathic towards life around us.
There are plenty of animals living in a shelter and there’s always something that we can do to give our contributions. But how many of us take an initiative and come forward with help? Not much
89 years old British lady has gone beyond her capabilities to help shelter dogs. Most of these organizations take help from outsiders in any way possible. This British lady has her unique way of helping the little canines.
She knitted around 450 blankets for these dogs to help them keep warm in the winters. Maisie Green loves knitting and she keeps herself busy with it.
She is knitting since her childhood days. When she heard about the dog shelter, she wanted to extend her help to them. And what’s better than providing them with knitted goodness?
Dogtrust is one of the biggest dog rescue organizations in the UK that has been sheltering more than 16,000 abandoned dogs yearly.
Recently the picture of the woman with her knitted blankets went viral that made the woman quite famous on social media platforms.
Her efforts were appreciated by the dog organization and those who saw the picture. Such efforts from humans can make a significant difference in the lives of these abandoned dogs.
We wish that Masie’s efforts encourage others to come forward and extend their help to these organizations in any way possible. Masie’s age never restricted her from doing things that everyone believes she could not. She is such an inspiration for everyone. Much love to Masie and her efforts for the little canine friends.
