While the majority of people lie from time to time, it’s no easy job figuring out when a person is lying rather than telling the truth.

If you wish to spot a liar and expose their lies, you better learn how to read people and watch out for signs that they’re not telling the truth.

According to body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass, there are several signs one might notice in people who are lying.

For one, people tend not to move around a lot while lying. Still, they might change the position of their head rapidly. They may also repeat words or even entire sentences and tend to give too much info.

As for facial expressions, people who lie typically cover or repeatedly touch their faces – especially their mouths or eyes.

“A telltale sign of lying is that a person will automatically put their hands over their mouth when they don’t want to deal with an issue or answer a question,” Glass says.

“When adults put their hands over their lips, it means they aren’t revealing everything, and they just don’t want to tell the truth. They are literally closing off communication.”

With all that being said, we suggest you take another look at the original picture and see if you can spot the two liars now!

As you’ve probably figured out, the second lady from the left is lying. She is touching her right cheek with her finger.

But she’s not the only liar here! Look at the lady on the right. She is touching her mouth because she doesn’t want to tell you the truth.
