Woman Lost Her Internship At NASA After A Vulgar Series Of Tweets Just Hours After She Was Accepted For The Job


Twitter user Naomi H lost her internship at NASA after a series of tweets in which she told a senior space adviser to “suck my di** and bal**” only hours after she was accepted for the job.

The thread, which is now deleted, started when Naomi H celebrated her acceptance into a competitive internship program of NASA.

She wrote: “EVERYONE SHUT THE F*** UP, I GOT ACCEPTED FOR A NASA INTERNSHIP.”

Homer Hickam, a former NASA engineer and a member of the National Space Council, replied to her tweet, saying: “Language.

21-year-old Naomi then replied: “Suck my di** and bal** I’m working at NASA.

The intern was then left red-faced when the man replied again: “And I am on the National Space Council that oversees NASA.

The situation got worse when her online friends replied to Hickam with insulting tweets and included the #NASA, getting the attention of the space agency.

In a blog post, Hickam said he found out that the unnamed intern had been fired by NASA after seeing her thread, following their exchange.

The NASA legend sympathized with her and said that he is doing his best to help Naomi secure a future in the aerospace sector.

The 75-year-old also said that he didn’t complain to the space agency and he never planned to get her in trouble. He also blamed Naomi’s friends, claiming they’re the ones who spread the exchange on social media long before he removed his own tweets.

I learned she had lost her offer for an internship with NASA,” Hickam wrote. “This I had nothing to do with, nor could I since I do not hire and fire at the agency or have any say on employment whatsoever.

As it turned out, it was due to the NASA hashtag her friends used that called the agency’s attention to it long after my comments were gone.

For what it’s worth, I want to extend @NaomiH_official my deepest condolences for having this opportunity torn away from her by an old chud.”

The NASA stalward also said that he received an apology from the woman. He added: “I’m doing all I can to secure her one that will be better than the one she lost.
