49-year-old Elizabeth Hoad has given up on men after more than 200 dates failed.
Now, the former model is going to tie the knot with her dog.
She hopes to convince a priest at their local church to bless her union with Logan, a 6-year-old Golden Retriever.
Elizabeth, who was never married, will wear a wedding ring while her groom with sport a gold wristband, waistcoat, a bow tie, and a top hat.
Logan’s friends, Bear and Ajax, will be best men on August 2, the first anniversary of when she adopted the adorable pet.
Around 20 people will attend their wedding party before their dog-friendly honeymoon.
“I’m done with men,” Elizabeth expressed. “I’ve had 220 dates in eight years from six dating sites and it’s generally been a disaster.
“I thought it would be a good idea to ‘marry’ Logan instead. He never leaves my side and we love one another.
“Some might think I’m bonkers but it feels right. It’s my way of saying we’ll be together forever.”
