28-year-old Jade Savage shared how her love interest called her fat after she had spent almost four hours on a train just to see him.
Jade, who said that it was the worst date ever, even forked out $115 to see the man she had met on Tinder a few months before.
She had already been on a few days with the jerk but as soon as she stepped out of the train station, the 27-year-old salesman told her that she had ‘put some weight on.’
After she called him a ‘pr***,’ she returned home to Leicestershire and told her friends about what happened, which eventually turned into a joke.
They decided to set up a GoFundMe page to refund the cost of her train ticket which now sits at $540!
On the page they created, she wrote: “Date called me fat and got offended when I told him he was rude and acting like a pr***. So took me back to the train station 5 minutes later.
“He then offered to give me the £90 travel money back and blocked me when I said yeah. Just want to make my £90 travel money back so I can buy wine and sticks of lard.”
Jade also told The Sun: “I was chatting to him on the phone when I got to the train station, waiting for him to pick me up.
“That’s when he said, ‘F*** me, you have put some weight on haven’t you?’ I was like, ‘No, you can’t say that.’
“It was clear he wanted to call the whole thing off, but I still hoped we could have a nice time so we went to his car. But he said, ‘I can say it, it’s a fact. You have put weight on, so therefore I can joke about it.’
“I called him a pr*** but he then went berserk and said, ‘You what, you think I’m a pr***?’ He drove me back to the station and told me I had put him in a bad mood and that I had to go home.” Can’t see her arguing with that, to be honest.”
She added: “My mates were laughing with me, saying, ‘You’ve paid £90 to go to Peterborough, be called fat and then get sent home.’ It was the worst and shortest date I’ve been on. I see the funny side and that’s why I did the GoFundMe.”
