A mother-of-two Akeisha Land, from Missouri, stunned everyone when she shared a picture with her 22-month-old daughter Greyson this week.
The reason was her uncanny resemblance to Meghan Markle.
She formed an Instagram page to share pictures of her kids but there was one thing which caught everyone’s attention and it was her looks. The picture which she shared received thousands of likes and followers hurried to comment on the striking likeness.
Akeisha is mom to Tristan, six, said strangers regularly stops her at the supermarket and church and mistake her for Meghan.
She told Femail: “I get compared to her quite often, and not just online.
“I’ll have random people coming up and saying, ‘has anyone ever told you that you look like…’ I always giggle before they even finish saying who because I know exactly who they’re going to say because I’ve heard it so much; especially recently since I’ve been wearing my hair straight.
“’Even my close friends and family say I look like her! And even though I myself don’t see the similarities, I definitely take it as a huge compliment as she’s just drop dead gorgeous”.
Akeisha joked she wants to contact Meghan’s team to tell them she can be a doppelganger for Meghan and can attend any events where Meghan doesn’t want to go.
This is not the first time when a lookalike of Meghan went viral as it has been happened in past too. Sarah who works as one of the UK’s top Meghan lookalikes said the similarities were first pointed out when Prince Harry and Meghan announced their engagement in 2017.
Mom-of-two Sarah also works as an occupation director at a performing arts school, said her dress sense is similar to Meghan’s but her wardrobe costs a fraction of the price.
According to the Mail, she said: “I couldn’t afford to keep buying different outfits for £2,000($2600) apiece.”
Sarah and her mother were even invited to Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding and were among the 1,200 guests.
She said: “I didn’t meet Meghan but at one point I was about a meter from her.”
