A distraught young woman has spoken out about her ‘crazy’ mother-in-law and revealed how she accused her of poisoning her baby.
Idalis Lago is a proud mother who shocked the internet after making a series of TikTok videos in which she revealed just how badly she is being treated by her mother-in-law.
According to Lago, she no longer wants to see her husband’s mom because of everything she had said and done to her in the past years.
As the young mum admitted in one of her viral clips, her toxic mother-in-law would call her fat every time she saw her. To make matters worse, she would mock her mother as well.
Among other issues she opened up about, Idalis says her MIL accused her of poisoning her seven-month-old baby by feeding him formula.
If you think that’s not enough to justify that the mother-in-law in question is out of control, knowing that she brought her dog to Lago’s wedding might change your mind.
“There’s nothing worse than your mother in law telling you how to be a mother. My mother in law came over the other day and saw that my son was in his rocking chair, and mind you, he’d been awake for the whole entire day, so I put him in the chair and he was knocked out,” the young mother said in one of her videos.
“I was able to start cleaning the house and cooking for all of us. She comes in and she’s like ‘Oh my god what is he doing in there? You’re messing up his growth!’”
After confronting the rude MIL, Idalis was told to take better care of her child. Amid the furious row, the father of the baby told his mother to apologize to his wife.
“I guess it is what it is and you’re not going to see the baby. You don’t have a right until you fix things with the mother. If the mother’s not comfortable, I’m going to respect her wishes,” the man told his mother, prompting the couple to distance themselves from the woman.
