Life is really unpredictable because sometimes, even a small cut can harm your body to an extreme level.
Recently, a family in Florida faced a terrible situation as one of their family members passed away because of a small cut on the beach.
Lynn Fleming’s, who was a woman, 77-years-old, from Florida, was on a trip to Coquina Beach. She went there with her family where her life took a great turn which changed everything.
She was on vacation with her son, Wade and wife, Traci. While she was enjoying the time on the beach, she decided to go for a walk around the water, and that’s when she got a cut.
There was a little hole inside the water area where she suddenly fell, and when she came out of the water, there was a three-quarter inch cut on her leg. Wade said that the cut was so small that nobody thought or worried about it as it wasn’t even bleeding.
After a few days when Fleming realized that the cut wasn’t getting any better, she decided to visit a doctor at the local hospital.
The doctor injected her with a tetanus injection and a list of antibiotics that’s she has to take. Even after consulting the doctor, things didn’t get better as she fees unconscious on the floor of her bedroom.
When the doctors did the checkup again, they found the cut has got a bacterial infection which is known as fasciitis. This types of bacterial infection is a flesh-eating disease and aren’t good for a person’s health.
There are a lot of cases which go through the same diseases, but only some of those die even after the treatment.
Flemings also went through a number of surgeries and treatments, but nothing was successful. After suffering from two strokes and one organ failure, Lynn passed away on 27th June.
Wade said that everything happened so fast that he couldn’t understand anything. Now the couple is trying to spread awareness amongst people so that nobody else goes through the same situations ever in their life.
