A dog owner hailing from Wombley, South Yorkshire has pleaded for fireworks to be banned after her 18-week-old puppy died from the fright of the loud noise of the fireworks.
After the sad demise of her 18-week-old puppy, Susan Paterson wrote on Facebook regarding the death of her little puppy, which was caused due to the loud noise of the fireworks. She named her puppy Molly.
Susan further wrote that due to the enormous firework which took place around lower Darfield and Wombwell, her young terrier was frightened and later died due to a heart attack caused by the same.
She pleaded everyone to stop using firework for the sake of the poor animal who have nowhere to hide and are exposed to the loud noise of the fireworks. She further wrote that because of the loud noise, she had to lose her 18-week-old terrier.
Molly has left us, but she will never be forgotten and will always be remembered in our prayers and live in our heart. We still couldn’t overcome the sad demise of the poor puppy and fearing for the others as the fireworks are going to take place again tonight.
Susan is now pleading everyone to sign a petition that calls for banning fireworks all across the UK.
As of now, the petition has already received 180k signatures which eventually forces the parliament to have a debate on this.
The petition was set by Elizabeth Jayne Harden because of the death of thousands of animals and birds all across the world.Dogs have much sensitive hearing than we humans do for which the loud noise of the fireworks terrifies them to death.
They are left with a shocked and confused experience because of the fireworks.
