” That’s why having a roast dinner during Easter must have been the one thing people were looking forward to.

But one woman apparently went too far for some people during Easter when she shared a photo of a roast dinner served in an Easter egg.

The woman named “Shazza D” shared a clip of herself on Rate My Plate that saw her pouring thick gravy onto what seemed like chicken, potato, carrots, and stuffing, all of them snug inside an Easter egg.

A few people were triggered, with one commenting: “This makes me sad! Not only is your gravy lumpy af… but s*** that combo is an insult to anyone that looks at it! You should be ashamed of yourself!”

A second wrote: “I’m hoping this a Heston Blumenthal style optical illusion.”

“No problem with the gravy, can’t stand runny gravy, has to stay on the plate when moved and not run everywhere! But all that savory in a chocolate egg! Why! Why god damn you why!!” cried a third.

While another added: “You should be ashamed of yourself.”

Not everyone reacted the same way, though.

One person supported Shazza’s creativity, replying: “She’s clearly seen the earlier post and been drinking whiskey out of an Easter egg and this is the result. I’m all for creative drunkenness…”

But Shazza isn’t alone in stirring controversy for their own take on the roast dinner.

Last year, someone named “Taylor H” also shared a photo on Rate My Plate showing their sketchy-looking chicken.

“That chicken is so rare, Attenborough has just finished a documentary about it!” one person commented.

Another said: “Amazed the chicken stayed on the plate long enough for the photo. Be dancing about the kitchen shortly.”

Someone had a savage comeback: “No chicken was killed in the making of this dish.”

A fourth chimed in: “The chicken is still crossing the fucking road.”

But the one user had the perfect comment: “The only roasting this chicken experienced is in this thread.”
