A woman was sent to hospital after having a panic attack three hours into getting her zombie make-up done for a marketing campaign photoshoot.
But the experienced dancer Jai Fears caused a huge scare at a hospital when doctors mistakenly believed he had been admitted for severe facial wounds.
Speaking about what happened, she told Fox2: “It literally just shot up to my brain and it just caused like a really bad reaction.
“We were getting ready to do a photo shoot to do some marketing for Glam Gore for people who want to get their make up done for the Halloween season.”
When she got to the hospital, doctors thought she had suffered severe facial injuries and wanted her to receive immediate medical attention.
Doctors had said: “’Let0s get her back to trauma now’ and ‘she’s probably going into shock, she’s not making any sense.’”
Even though doctors wrongly believed she was severely injured, Fears didn’t tell them thinking they should’ve noticed that it was only make-up.
But the staff didn’t know that she was only wearing make-up. The hospital said to Fox2 Detroit that they couldn’t comment on Fears’ case but they released a statement.
A spokesperson said in a statement: “The emergency room is not a place for fun and games.
“They see many patients with severe medical issues where lives are at stake. Doctors need to be able to focus on those patients with true emergencies.”
Fears was sent home on that the same day and wrote on Facebook: “Let me please say anxiety is no joke or laughing matter. It was a serious situation that happened at a strange time.”
