A woman who spent a night in pain after wearing a new pair of shoes, realized the next day that she had them on the wrong feet.
Ayleigh McGhee, from Glasgow, was complaining to her friends that her shoes were hurting her feet and she was finding it hard to walk in them.
When she saw some photos the next day, she realized that she had been wearing them on the wrong feet the whole night.
In this embarrassing situation, you would keep this little mix-up to yourself, but Ayleigh’s friend Georgia Henry had other plans and shared the funny situation on Twitter, where it quickly went viral.
Sharing the photo of her mate’s feet, Georgia wrote: “Ayleigh was actual moaning the full night saying she couldn’t walk in her shoes n only just realized this morning she was wearing them on the wrong feet. This lassie man. [sic]”
As always, social media users found the whole thing hilarious, with one calling it ‘the funniest thing’.
Anyone who has spent a night out in high heels will understand the situation that how difficult it can be. So, the post has struck a chord with hundreds of people.
One person said I’d say it’s more based on society. Society pushes for women to wear these obnoxious, uncomfortable things invented by men. Though high heels were actually invented for men, not women, even though now we’re the ones that wear them, but then there was Prince.
Another said I agree to an extent. I have worn corsets that I’ve made myself but never got into tight lacing because I have a crazy shape, where it looks like I’ve tight-laced when I never have. The worst torture device in my book is the bra! haha!
Some of the people admitted that they’d done the same thing, which sort of makes me despair – while others wondered how Ayleigh didn’t realize sooner.
