A woman revealed she had kicked her sister out of her house after she made some very rude comments about her miscarriage.
As the 32-year-old woman in question explained in her Reddit post, she had ordered her sister to move out of her home after she called her miscarriage ‘karma’.
According to the young lady, she had suffered five miscarriages that left a major toll on her health. Despite several tragic incidents, however, her ‘insensitive’ sister went on to suggest that all of this is happening to her because she aborted her baby back when she was 19.
“Recently, I had a massive argument with my sister after my last miscarriage. I was upset and asking her why this kept happening to me,” the anonymous woman revealed in her post.
“She shrugged and said it was probably to do with the abortion I had when I was 19. Honestly, I was gobsmacked at how nonchalant she sounded.
“She knew there had been health reasons behind it and had been supportive at the time. I’d been so poorly that I’d needed an operation and had spent months recovering. Also, she knows how guilty I felt that I was unable to carry to full term.”
As the upset woman added, she pushed her sister into explaining her words only for the sibling to say that she brought the abortion on herself and that her past decisions have come back to haunt her.
“She wasn’t being mean, just blunt but my hormones were all over the place and I ended up kicking her out of my house and telling her not to contact me again,” the Reddit user added.
“Soon after, I got loads of phone calls from my other sister, mum and dad and even my sister’s husband basically saying I had overreacted and was being an a**hole. That I had to make things right and apologize. I refused and haven’t spoken to any of them since.”
After asking the internet for help, netizens were quick to suggest that she was right and that her sister should apologize to her.
As most people suggested, the sister is “completely lacking empathy” and should find a place of her own if she thinks so lowly of her sibling.
