A woman has gone viral after mocking her ex-boyfriend on Facebook and attempting to sell her engagement ring following a bitter break-up.
As 25-year-old Abbey Oxley explained in her post, she wants to get rid of the ring “quicker than he lasted in bed.”
The pictures of the diamond ring, which she listed for $250, were accompanied with the following message: “Had it on about 2 weeks. He’s a d***head wasn’t worth the oxygen hope it sells quicker than he lasted in bed…”
While plenty of Facebook users praised the woman for getting back at her “di**head ex,” some pointed out that the last portion of her message sounds more like a compliment.
“We’d been having an argument and the relationship was rocky anyway and I just thought ‘I’ve had enough’ so I posted the ad,” UK-based Abbey said in an interview with The Sun.
“Within minutes it was shooting off with people messaging me and bidding over the ring. I can’t believe it. I’d had enough of all the arguing so was like ‘f**k it, might as well make something from this.’
“Hopefully it will sell and the offers are serious because I’d like the money and it’s a bit of a silver lining then.”
As the woman revealed, she was in a relationship with Steve for nearly two years but things spiraled out of control after the two got engaged six months ago.
“He wasn’t happy about the post and messaged me about it because of the comment about him not lasting long in bed,” Abbey added.
“If I get the £200, I’ll spend it on a spa day for myself because I need to relax after getting out of that relationship. Basically a ‘f**k you present’ to myself.”
As for Steve, he doesn’t seem to have any regrets about things not working out between him and his ex.
“She is a bit of a cheeky bit** though with that comment about me not lasting long in bed. She knows I’m the best s**g she’s ever had,” he told The Sun.
