In another incident of a similar nature, thieves have been dubbed “heartless” and “cruel” after breaking into and robbing a fire station of various necessities amid the country’s on-going battle with bushfires.

The “lowest of the low” incidents occurred in Brisbane, Australia, where thugs forced their way into the Windsor station and stole firefighters’ wallets and mobile phones among other valuable items.

According to 7News, the police were called onto the scene whereas the authorities urged anyone with relevant information to contact them.

As for the people, they can’t believe that anyone would descend as low as stealing from people who are risking their lives to protect the innocent.

In addition, the thieves appeared to have planned it all too well as they targeted the station just before Christmas when it was most vulnerable due to firefighters spending their time with their families.

“Whats happened to people, how could anyone be so cruel and evil to rob a fire station and firefighters who put their lives on the line every day,” someone wrote online.

“This is about as low as one can get. Its bad enough that people are stealing from each other but to rob a fire station!? Amid the bushfire crisis!!” another outraged commenter suggested.
