A 31-year-old woman’s lip filler procedure went horribly wrong and she was left looking like “something out of a horror show”.

Michaela Hide spent £220 on the lip filler procedure but the beautician, who later turned out to be not qualified, injected her with the wrong chemicals.

Michaela’s lips started to swell immediately. But the beautician told her the swelling would go down and advised her to put ice on her lips.

However, it didn’t work and giant lumps started forming everywhere and Michaela struggled to speak or eat.

She told the Sun: “I looked like something out of a horror show. I looked horrific. When my boyfriend at the time came home, he went berserk, screaming ‘what have you done?'”

Michaela paid an additional £120 to fix the botched lip filler procedure but it became worse.

The beautician then blocked Michaela and moved to a new house.

She said: “That’s when I really began to panic. I thought I was going to be stuck like this forever.”

To ease her pain and look normal, Michaela had to spend £1,020 for two reconstructive surgeries by reconstructive surgeon Dr. Mark Gorman.

Later, it turned out the beautician had used a filler known as Radiesse which is not used for plumping the lips but is used in chin, jaw, cheek and nose sculpting.

Michaela underwent two reconstructive surgeries by reconstructive surgeon Dr. Mark Gorman that took two hours.

But, she had to wait for two months for them to completely heal.

Now, Michaela is sharing her story with people so they learn a lesson. She asked people to do their research before having any lip procedure.

Michaela’s lips have now healed and look normal but she had to spend over £1000 to make them look like before.
